Ghost Wall – WW is a system designed by Mikal Harrsen that marks Cassina’s entry into the walk-in closet segment. A groundbreaking innovation, the launch of this complex system completes the company’s proposal for the bedroom, perfectly reflecting the philosophy of “The Cassina Perspective,” which focuses on creating complete and eclectic home environments.

Cassina’s concept for the walk-in closet begins with Ghost Wall, Harrsen’s debut project for the company in 2022, a “ghost” wall made of decorative panels so thin that they are almost imperceptible. Today, this project perfectly aligns with the concept of a "Walk-in Wardrobe," from which the double "W" in the name derives, with the introduction of a wide range of accessories specifically designed for this function.

Ghost Wall – WW creates a space dedicated to the self, transcending traditional walk-in closet systems. Maximum customization flexibility extends not only to the system modules but also to the ability to personalize the panels’ background with a wide variety of materials, colors, and finishes, including a version that can be customized with a wallpaper covering, allowing it to blend seamlessly with the user’s style.

The minimalist geometries and the thin thickness of the panels remain the distinctive features of Ghost Wall – WW. Thanks to Cassina’s in-depth research, Mikal Harrsen’s proposal is transformed into a sophisticated walk-in closet.

Notable innovations include double-height decorative panels, offered in various finishes to suit a wide range of styles: from lacquered wood to mirrored glass, fabric, or even a version designed to apply custom wallpaper, to name a few. The aesthetic of the panels has been enhanced in Ghost Wall – WW, thanks to the new, thinner rail designed for mounting panels and accessories, which now appears as a discreet shadow in the gap between the two panels, further emphasizing the decorative elements.

Ghost Wall – WW has been conceived to transform closet organization into a functional and refined experience. This system offers a vast selection of elegant accessories designed to optimize every corner, from drawers for shirts and sweaters to trouser modules and illuminated shelves for shoes.

This collective proposal also enriches the Ghost Box collection of sideboards and storage units, introducing central islands specifically designed for the walk-in closet. These elements enhance the defining aesthetic of Ghost Box with new details. One innovation is the extra-clear tempered glass top, which creates a display case with a visually striking impact, perfect for showcasing favorite accessories and creating a contrast with the structure beneath. The island offers a wide range of finishes and accessories, including boxes with dividers that can be placed inside, finished with perimeter stitching on the cover and internal dividers lined with fabric.

An aluminum frame surrounds the wooden surface of the shoe shelf, available in two widths and noble or lacquered finishes. Extremely practical, the shelf stands out not only for its functionality but also for its aesthetic, enhanced by LED lighting recessed into the front.

The trouser drawer integrates seamlessly with the other modules, featuring the same painted aluminum structure and a top in elegant lacquered or noble finishes, which can be completed with a retro-painted glass. This element conceals bars with a black velvet seal, optimizing space and keeping clothes in impeccable condition.

Ghost Wall – WW is an intricate symphony, with its rhythm marked by continuous shelves, which can be equipped with lighting to ensure effective yet discreet illumination.

A distinguishing feature of this system is the meticulous attention to detail in its development. New angular shelves have been introduced, offered in versions with or without hangers, ensuring perfect integration with the surrounding environment and maximizing space optimization. Additionally, the option to add a lower illuminated plinth made of aluminum completes the composition, refining the bottom section and defining the perimeter of the walk-in closet—an ideal solution when no storage units or shelves are present at the bottom.
